We are looking for a GIS Analyst to join our Infrastructure team and work on the Lower Thames Crossing project in a primarily site-based role. As a GIS Analyst, you will be supported by the GIS Manager (among others) to problem-solve, innovate and develop sustainable GIS solutions by taking ownership of individual tasks to contribute to a collaborative project delivery.
What you'll do:
* Manage and maintain large volumes of GIS data, ensuring data quality and accuracy through reconciliation, digitisation and cleansing
* Ensuring fit for purpose information is served to the right person at the right time in the right format
* Liaise with different discipline teams on the project to identify opportunities, develop GIS solutions, train & upskill end-users.
What you'll bring to the role:
* Undergraduate Degree or above in Geomatics, Engineering, Geography, Environmental Sciences
* MSc in Geospatial Sciences, GIS or GIS related discipline (preferred but not essential)
* 2+ years of professional GIS implementation
* Working towards or accomplished professional qualification
* Practical experience of ESRI ArcGIS Suite (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise and field applications)
