The Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Watchmaker to join our client's specialist workshop. This role offers the opportunity to work with some of the world's most prestigious timepiece brands in a supportive, professional environment where craftsmanship is truly valued.
Key Responsibilities
Service, repair, and restore luxury watches to the highest standards
Perform complete movement overhauls and complex repairs
Diagnose mechanical issues and provide accurate time estimates
Maintain detailed service records and documentation
Ensure all work meets manufacturer specifications and quality standards
Handle warranty repairs and manufacturer-approved services
Provide technical expertise and guidance to the sales team
Maintain workshop tools and equipment in optimal condition
Stay current with latest techniques and manufacturer updates
Essential Requirements
Minimum 5+ years' experience as a qualified watchmaker
Accreditation from leading brands (Rolex, Patek Philippe, or equivalent prestigious manufacturers)
Demonstrated expertise in mechanical watch movements
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
Excellent problem-solving skills
Professional approach to customer service
Relevant qualifications in horology or watchmaking
Desirable Qualifications
Additional brand certifications
Experience with vintage and complicated timepieces
Knowledge of modern and traditional watchmaking techniques
Understanding of Swiss and other luxury watch movements
