Calex works closely with Volkswagen Group UK to design and deliver outstanding learning experiences for technicians across Audi, SEAT, CUPRA, ŠKODA, Volkswagen Passenger Cars, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, and TPS.
Based at the National Learning Centre in Milton Keynes – the UK’s largest automotive training facility – you’ll play a key role in developing the skills of more than 26,000 learners across the retailer network.

The role
As a Technical Trainer, you’ll deliver engaging, high-quality training that equips technicians with the skills and confidence to work on the latest Volkswagen Group technology.
You will:
* Deliver a blend of hands-on workshop training, classroom sessions, virtual classrooms, and live broadcasts.
* Develop and update learning content, including new-model launch training.
* Attend brand and factory events, including product launches and factory accreditation programmes.
* Inspire technicians of all experience levels to be the best in the industry.
This role suits both experienced trainers and technicians ready to take the step into training.

* Hold relevant technical qualifications (City & Guilds Levels 1–3, NVQ, or equivalent).
* Have strong technical knowledge – especially in vehicle electrics and diagnostics.

Salary & Benefits
£40,942 – £47,802 per annum including car allowance + £10,000 personal development investment.

Contract: Permanent / Full Time
Working Hours: Monday to Friday / 40 hours per week

Volkswagen Group UK National Learning Centre, Wymbush, Milton Keynes.
Training may also take place at:
* Calex offices
* Additional VWG facilities
* Retailers
* International venues, including Germany, Spain, and the Czech Republic
The NLC is a modern training facility with an onsite restaurant serving a choice of three different hot meals each day, it also benefits from an onsite parking, deli bar and Starbucks café.
Pre-employment Checks: Calex will undertake the relevant/standard employment checks with any successful candidate. This includes contacting all nominated referees, as well as checking candidate ID, driving licence (if appropriate) and right to work in the UK.
