This is a superb opportunity to recruit a Station Commander/Head of Establishment (HoE) at MoD Corsham. This is a 3 year post with the option to extend for 1 year with the successful candidate serving on Full Time Reserve Service (Home Commitment) Terms and Conditions of Service (TCoS). Responsibilities The role includes, although is not limited to: Providing direct support to the 2* Director of Intelligence & Expeditionary Services and executing Head of Establishment (HoE) accountabilities for MoD Corsham and other key sensitive sites within the UK, which include: Health Safety and Environmental Protection – responsible for HS& EP on DD led sites, enclaves and on-site personnel. Also responsible for improving sustainability within area of influence. Security – responsible for the security of personnel and property Risk & Resilience – responsible for ensuring required risk assessments are in place Infrastructure & Facilities Management - responsible for ensuring site infrastructure is managed throughout its lifecycle by the Delivery Agent (DIO) & Identifying and prioritising infrastructure requirements for the establishment and lodger units, to also include Service Families Accommodation and ensuring DIO accommodation plans are in place. Civil Engagement - responsible for the planning, coordination and delivery of civil engagement across the local area with oversight of the organisation and arrangements for any event held on the estate. Military Personnel - accountability for all administration and discipline aspects in relation to military personnel within the HoE pillar. Civilian Personnel - Countersigning Officer for all civilian employees within the HoE pillar. Corsham Underground - Act as the Mine Owners Representative for the Corsham underground and lead/support the safe operation of the Corsham underground in conjunction with His Majesty’s Inspector of Mines The Role is accountable to the Director Intelligence & Expeditionary Services.
