Job Overview
Looking to develop your experience in paediatric dietetics, this temporary role supports the paediatric and neonatal wards, outpatient clinics, community clinics, and home visits at Chesterfield Royal Hospital.
Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive dietetic services to inpatients on neonatal and paediatric wards.
* Deliver dietetic care to outpatients in clinics, community clinics, and home visits.
* Support multidisciplinary team (MDT) clinics for patients with diabetes, cystic fibrosis, coeliac disease, and allergy.
* Run a specialist feeding clinic for children with severely restricted diet.
* Care for children and young people who are enterally fed.
* Support clinical skill development and knowledge in paediatric dietetics.
* Assist in professional development and continuing professional development (CPD) activities.
Qualifications and Experience
* Registered with the HCPC.
* Postgraduate training relevant to paediatric dietetics.
* Significant postgraduate dietetic experience in NHS inpatient and outpatient settings.
* Experience working with children and young people.
* Experience supervising dietetic students on practice placement.
* Experience of healthcare menu development.
* Experience of developing and delivering presentations.
* Demonstrated CPD record.
