Loughborough University has an exciting opportunity to join our London campus and Library teams as our Academic Librarian and Library Manager (London). The post manages the London campus library collection, space and service in collaboration with University Library colleagues. It also delivers learning, teaching and research support to the students and staff of Loughborough University London, acting as the main contact between the London campus and Library services in Loughborough. As it is such a diverse role, it is not only a richly rewarding post in itself, but also a fantastic development opportunity to step up into a more senior Library role in the future.
The University is very highly regarded both for its teaching and research, with the Library enjoying excellent staff and student feedback.
This is a full-time, open-ended position based at the Loughborough London Campus in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, which supports postgraduate students and researchers.
The post-holder will work closely with professional services staff in London as well as with a range of teams and staff on the Loughborough campus and therefore willingness to occasionally travel to the Loughborough campus is expected. Whilst the role is expected to be primarily campus based, there is some allowance for home working under our dynamic working arrangement.
