Overview
The Dermatology Department offers a comprehensive range of services staffed by two full‑time consultant dermatologists, a locum consultant, a specialist registrar, and additional roles for one further consultant and an associate specialist doctor. Successful candidates will attend monthly clinical meetings at Leicester and support the existing consultant dermatologists, medical, and nursing staff for North Northamptonshire.
Responsibilities
* Carry out outpatient clinics and provide ward cover via telemedicine referral system.
* Support trainee doctors and nursing staff and participate in education of undergraduate and postgraduate students.
* Develop advice and guidance skills and lead telemedicine clinics.
* Work with distant supervision and may be required to work across both the Kettering and Northampton hospital sites depending on service needs.
* Attend multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings and skin cancer administration.
* Support the team in delivering general dermatological services to Kettering General Hospital NHS Trust.

* Tuesday – Two‑Week Wait (2WW) Clinic; Telephone Clinic
* Wednesday – Clinic; Operating List
* Thursday – SPA (Supporting Professional Activities); Administration
* Friday – Hot Clinic; SPA / Referrals
