Key Responsibilities
* Create and update manufacturing instructions and route cards
* Design, commission, and test tooling for production
* Support FMEAs, FAIs, and industrial validation activities
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during build
* Ensure configuration control and support SAP-based non-conformance processes
What Do You Need?
* Formal technical engineering/craft apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3/TR23/TR21 with formal further education certificate to HNC or equivalent in a relevant subject, or a BEng degree in a relevant engineering field, or a minimum of twenty years of experience working as a manufacturing engineer.
* Strong understanding of build instructions and design drawings
* Experience in electronic sub-assembly and electro-mechanical systems
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* ESD training and SAP experience are essential

The role is based at the client's site in Bolton, one of the North West's leading manufacturing sites for at least 25 years.
