Location: Flexible / UK-based | Salary: up to £100,000 + bonus
A rapidly expanding hospitality brand is seeking an experienced Head of IT to drive technology strategy, enhance operational efficiency, and support the company’s growth ambitions. This role sits at the intersection of business and technology, ensuring systems and digital platforms deliver seamless experiences for both colleagues and customers.
Role Overview
You will lead the IT function, shaping the technology roadmap, optimising internal systems, and overseeing customer-facing digital platforms. This is a strategic yet hands‑on role, requiring someone who can combine operational rigour with innovative thinking.
Key Responsibilities
* Define and implement a technology vision that supports growth and operational excellence.
* Lead and develop a high‑performing IT team, promoting collaboration and continuous improvement.
* Oversee IT budgets and manage vendor partnerships, ensuring maximum value.
* Identify emerging tech trends and apply them to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
Digital Platforms & Customer Experience
* Manage e‑commerce and mobile app infrastructure, delivering intuitive, reliable experiences.
* Partner with Marketing and Product teams to optimise digital touchpoints.
* Drive platform enhancements to improve engagement, loyalty, and conversions.
Systems & Infrastructure
* Ensure enterprise systems (ERP, POS, CRM, finance) are robust, secure, and scalable.
* Maintain cloud, network, and site infrastructure across multiple locations.
* Collaborate with suppliers to support evolving business needs.
Data Governance & Security
* Maintain compliance with GDPR and data protection standards.
* Lead business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
* Enhance reporting, analytics, and data architecture to support decision‑making.
Key Tools & Systems
* Microsoft Suite & SharePoint
* Power BI
Candidate Profile
* Experienced IT leader in high‑growth, customer‑centric organisations (hospitality, F&B, retail, or CPG preferred).
* Hands‑on experience with e‑commerce and mobile platforms.
* Knowledge of enterprise systems (e.g., Netsuite) and BI tools (Power BI).
* Strong communicator with the ability to translate technology into business impact.
* Skilled in budget management, vendor negotiations, and strategic planning.
* Relevant degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
