Venatu Automotive are recruiting a permanent Class 1 Driver (C+E) on behalf of our client, with full support provided by Sally Maxwell throughout the recruitment process, through to the offer stage.
Role Overview
You will be responsible for the safe collection and delivery of refrigerated trucks and cold storage containers to customer sites, depots, warehouses, and industrial locations. This is a reactive transport environment that requires flexibility, professionalism, and a strong focus on customer service and safety.
You will use modern digital systems to complete all delivery and collection records, ensuring accurate tracking, POD completion, and real-time communication.
Key Responsibilities
1. Safely operate Vans, Class 2 (Cat C), and Class 1 (Cat C+E) vehicles as required
2. Collect and deliver refrigerated rental equipment to customer locations
3. Complete electronic PODs using company mobile devices (signatures, photos, tracking)
4. Carry out vehicle checks, defect reporting, and pre-delivery/collection inspections
