We are looking for a motivated and skilled Classroom Support Assistant to work at a prestigious West Sussex primary school. Become a part of an inclusive, specialized day and residential school that supports more than ninety students (ages five to nineteen) with moderate to profoundly complex needs, such as autism and emotional and behavioral difficulties (EBD). pupils flourish in this joyful, inspiring community!
The SEN Teaching Assistant Role:
As an essential component of our team, you will assist youth by:
* Delivering committed, all-encompassing assistance that extends beyond the classroom.
* Putting an emphasis on wellbeing, life skills, and personal growth.
* Assisting with complex requirements in a dynamic, creative setting.
This is a full-time, permanent role: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Term-Time Only. ASAP start (notice periods considered).

Essential Requirements:
* GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).
* Eligibility to work in the UK.
* Desirable: Level 2 Diploma in Teaching and Learning (or similar).
* Experience working 1:1 with children or young adults with Autism and complex SEN.
* Strong understanding and practical experience with various SEN communication strategies.
* A nurturing, patient, resilient, and highly adaptable approach.
