Job Title: Business Governance Lead

Location: Gaydon, Warwickshire

Rate: £33.88ph via an Umbrella Company (Inside IR35) or £25.26ph on a PAYE basis

Employment Type: Contract (Currently financed until March 2027)

Hours: Standard 40 Hours Per Week

Position Description

The Business Governance Lead will play a crucial role in supporting the Business Manager and ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Vehicle Architecture and Vehicle Engineering. This role requires a highly organised and proactive individual with excellent communication and administrative skills, capable of managing diverse responsibilities and contributing to the effective governance of the platform.


Key Responsibilities


Business Manager Support

* Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other critical business materials.
* Support the Business Manager in tracking key performance indicators and action items.


Communication Lead

* Develop and disseminate clear and concise communications to internal stakeholders.
* Manage and maintain communication channels, ensuring information is accurate and up-to-date.
* Content Development:
o Assist in the development and maintenance of content for various communication platforms, including intranet pages, newsletters, and presentations.
o Ensure content is aligned with business objectives and brand guidelines.
o Contribute to the creation of training materials and process documentation.
o Prepare and co‑coordinate Technical Spotlights and Lunch and Learns for VAVE across all sites.
* Communication Events Support:
o Support the Business Manager in the organization of communication events, including meetings, workshops, and presentations.
o Manage logistics, including venue booking, equipment setup, and attendee coordination.
o Prepare and distribute event materials and follow‑up communications.
o Purchase Order Management for events planned and associated activities.
o Maintain accurate records of all purchase orders and related documentation.
* Annual Diary Management:
o Develop and maintain an annual diary of key events, deadlines, and milestones for VAVE.
o Ensure all scheduling is made to maximise efficiency.


SharePoint Process Management

* Document and update process maps, work instructions, and business practices related to VAVE Business Team.
* Ensure information is easily accessible and regularly reviewed.


Essential Skills and Experience

* Proven experience in a similar administrative or governance role.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
* Strong organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
* Experience in purchase order processing and financial administration.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
* Experience documenting processes.
* Experience with diary management.


Desirable Skills and Experience

* Experience in the automotive industry.
* Knowledge of project management methodologies.
* Experience using content management systems.
