HW Finance are pleased to be supporting a global group in their search for a Finance Operations Manager to join the team in Leeds.
About the role:
This is a newly created position, due to recent team restructure, and is responsible for overseeing all transactional finance, reporting to the CFO.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and mentor a transactional finance team (2 direct reports, total team of 8)
* Manage client invoicing and supplier payment runs, with a focus on cash flow and control
* Ensure timely and accurate month end and year end close processes
* Maintain banking relationships
* Influence and collaborate across departments to ensure alignment
* Drive continuous improvement and efficiencies
* Involvement in systems updates and implementations
About You:
* Progressive experience in finance operations or accounting
* Proven leadership experience of transactional teams
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Advanced Excel and reporting tools
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Proactive and process-improvement oriented
