Overview
Based at Walker & Morrell Funeral Directors - Washington, our Funeral Service Operatives are calm, professional and play a vital role in our service. They are often the first members of the team to meet our families. A good Funeral Service Operative will be able to provide reassurance to families that we will take good care of their loved ones whilst we prepare them for their final journey. In addition to bringing people's loved ones into our care, Funeral Service Operatives play an active role behind the scenes, working in the mortuary, fitting coffins, and dressing the deceased; as well as participating in funeral services, pallbearing, and helping to ensure everything goes smoothly. You may have worked in the Funeral industry for many years or maybe you're looking for a new challenge. For us it's more important that you have the right skills and attributes because we will give you all the training you need. Come and join us, we will give you all the tools you need to be a success. We offer a sensitive, professional service to the families in our care and are proud to be part of the Funeral Partners family. Together, we are leading the way in setting new standards of excellence within the profession. Our people are key to our success, they bring a wealth of experience from both inside and outside the Funeral industry and, as an organisation, we really know what it means to work as a team. But, don't take our word for it, see what our people say about working for Funeral Partners.
