*Responsibilities*
* Lead and supervise the kitchen team to ensure efficient daily operations
* Oversee food production, ensuring dishes meet quality and presentation standards
* Manage food preparation and cooking processes in accordance with health and safety regulations
* Develop innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while catering to customer preferences
* Maintain strict adherence to food safety, hygiene standards, and sanitation procedures
* Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and control food costs effectively
* Train and mentor staff in culinary techniques, safety protocols, and customer service excellence
* Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
* Enforce compliance with licensing laws and health regulations within the kitchen environment

* Proven supervising experience within a busy restaurant or hospitality setting
* Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in food preparation and cooking techniques
* Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team
* Solid understanding of food safety standards and sanitation practices
* Experience in menu development and managing food production processes
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with team members and management
* Previous restaurant experience is essential; hospitality background is highly desirable
* Knowledge of serving procedures and customer service principles is advantageous
Pay: £28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
