Overview
Enfield Council’s award‑winning Blue Green Infrastructure team is delivering a wide range of innovative flood risk management projects, including wetlands, rain gardens, natural flood management, and other landscape restoration measures, to meet the growing needs of this dynamic area of North London.
We have an opportunity for a Graduate Engineer to be part of this team, assisting with this programme of work and other Lead Local Flood Authority and land drainage responsibilities, including working with developers to ensure new planning applications include best practice SuDS measures.
Responsibilities
• Work on your own initiative taking responsibility for making day‑to‑day decisions to deliver projects and work programmes.
• Act under the guidance of the Principal Engineer and other senior team members.
• Communicate effectively with residents and other third parties and handle relevant queries.
• Work as part of a multi‑disciplinary team, prioritise workloads, and adapt to change.
Qualifications
• Qualified with at least a Degree/HNC or equivalent experience.
