This is a brilliant opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to take ownership of their own caseload while also working closely with experienced directors and legal professionals.In this key role, you’ll manage a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters under the supervision of a director. You’ll also support wider team activity across conveyancing and business purchase/sale transactions. It’s a hands-on, fast-paced role that requires a confident communicator and a strong understanding of the conveyancing process from start to finish.Key ResponsibilitiesManage your own caseload of residential conveyancing files under director supervisionTake client instructions and guide them through documentation and executionLiaise with third parties such as estate agents, brokers and surveyorsDraft conveyancing documentation including missives and deedsOrder and analyse property searches and reportsDraft and submit Land and Buildings Transaction Tax (LBTT) returnsRegister title deeds, including first registrations and transfers of partConduct AML checks and assess source of funds and wealthAttend to the settlement of transactions and distribution of proceedsAssist directors and qualified staff on business purchase/sale transactionsPrepare progress reports for directors in relation to your workloadProvide general support to directors and colleagues, especially during holiday periodsEnsure compliance with all statutory, regulatory and data protection requirementsMaintain client files in accordance with the firm’s Data Protection PolicyWe’d love to hear from you if you:Have proven experience working as a paralegal in residential conveyancingAre confident managing a caseload with supervisionPossess excellent communication and organisational skillsAre proactive, professional and committed to delivering high-quality client serviceHave a keen eye for detail and the ability to prioritise effectivelyUnderstand regulatory requirements and maintain strict confidentiality at all timesAt Iconic Resourcing, we understand that not every candidate will meet every requirement listed.
