Job Title: Senior Brand Executive
Salary: £29,700 to £38,550
Location: Cambridge/Hybrid (2-3 days per week in Cambridge)
Contract: Full time, Fixed Term until 31st May 2027

About The Role
As Senior Brand Executive, you will work closely with colleagues in Global Marketing to create, shape and deliver communications campaigns and projects that build our brand and protect our reputation.
In this important role you will act as a brand advocate to increase internal and external brand awareness, converting colleagues and customers to brand advocates and conducting analysis to inform our future activities.
Key accountabilities include:
* Understand the overall brand strategy and work to continually increase our long-term brand equity.
* Plan and implement brand and content campaigns ensuring that as a business we meet or exceed both internal and market requirements and customer expectations.
* Understand our audience segments and how to target through the most effective channel including reviewing and proposing marketing tactics to support on delivering commercial goals.
* Communicate deliverables, objectives, required stakeholder involvement and results promptly.
* Manage assigned budget and schedule ensuring we deliver on time and within budget.
* Regularly monitor and analyse campaign performance. Reporting on ROI and making informed recommendations for future improvements.
* Liaise with regional teams to understand local customer needs and competitor activity on a local level and apply that learning and understanding to this role to support the delivery of effective brand activities.
* Evaluate competitor brand and communications activity and emergent trends and insights from leaders in other industries, identifying and sharing best-in-class activities and recommending adoption where appropriate.
* Act as a custodian of the brand by ensuring (where appropriate) external comms are aligned to the brand narrative and house style and play a key role in managing brand-related queries from colleagues across the organisation through our dedicated brand inbox (including approving textbook covers, advising on merchandise requests, and supporting with creative briefs).
* Work with external partners, stakeholders and third parties as appropriate, ensuring maximum commercial value is gained from agreements and activities.
* Deputise for other Brand colleagues as required.
About You
You are a responsible, creative, and collaborative team player, who is interested in building a career in brand management and keen to be part of a dynamic, high performing team.
You would ideally have experience in brand marketing or brand management, but we are open to candidates who have marketing experience and are interested in specialising in brand.
You are an effective communicator who is able to develop positive relationships with colleagues, creative teams and external agencies.
Your excellent communication skills, and eye for detail, mean you can write and edit to a high standard and draft engaging and compelling copy.
In addition to this you have an understanding of the challenges of building and maintaining a global brand and have experience of working in an international environment.
