Monday to Friday | 8:00am 4:30pm | Overtime Available
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Multi-Skilled Engineer to join a busy production environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer with strong mechanical skills, welding and fabrication experience, and a problem-solving mindset.
You will play a vital role in maintaining factory machinery, minimising downtime, and supporting safe and efficient production operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesEngineering & Maintenance
* Respond quickly to machinery breakdowns and production-critical issues
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance across all site equipment
* Diagnose and repair faults on grading, weighing, washing, and packing machinery
* Maintain mechanical systems including motors, gearboxes, and drive systems

o Support hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance and repairs
o Complete welding and fabrication work for repairs and bespoke projects
o Ensure all machinery is maintained to engineering and safety standards
o Assist with investigations into foreign object complaints and implement corrective actions
o Carry out occasional maintenance of buildings and site services
o Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
o Ensure compliance with health & safety, food safety, and industry regulations
Skills & Experience Required
o Previous experience in a multi-skilled engineering role within manufacturing or production
o Strong mechanical engineering background xsngvjr
o Welding and fabrication experience
o Ability to fault-find and work effectively under pressure
o Good communication and teamwork skills
o Understanding of health & safety and food safety standards
