A tier 1 proprietary, high frequency trading business are seeking a skilled Application Support Engineer with strong experience supporting market data platforms. You will join the Unified Platform Support team to provide support for research and compliance systems used across global markets. This position is ideal for technically minded candidates who enjoy problem-solving, working closely with developers, and gaining deeper exposure to production systems and code.
Responsibilities
* Operate key components of a data analysis pipeline and monitor production workflows.
* Troubleshoot and resolve application and data-related issues, including investigating code-level errors.
* Collaborate with developers to identify improvements and provide L2/L3 support.
* Respond to user queries (2–10 per day) via support channels.
* Support onboarding of new applications and development teams.
* Work with technologies including AWS, Java 17, Python 3, HDF5, Kubernetes, Kafka, and Argo.
