Position: Assistant Year Lead
The Assistant Year Lead will work with teaching staff, support staff, the inclusion team and external agencies to provide first‑line pastoral support to students within a year group.
Responsibilities
• Providing daily pastoral support to students in a year group.
• Collaborating with teachers, support staff and external agencies to develop and implement pastoral plans.
• Monitoring student well‑being and intervening when necessary.
• Assisting in the organisation of pastoral activities and events.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Passionate, committed and motivating with strong interpersonal skills.
• Experience in a school setting and familiarity with pastoral support roles is desirable.
• Capacity to work within the school safeguarding framework, including completing an Enhanced DBS Check and an online/social media check.

We offer a 37‑hour work week, Monday‑Friday, term time plus 10 days to be worked across school holidays.
