Salary: £40,000 - 40,000 per year Requirements: Significant experience in Data Architecture and delivering change Subject matter expert on data architecture and implementation of data management initiatives Proven success in providing deep Data architecture knowledge to large complex IT/Digital projects Ability to undertake data profiling and source system analysis Experience in evaluating, selecting, and onboarding architecture tools (LeanIX preferred) Ability to develop and analyze data standards Awareness of data alignment to end user needs Responsible for assurance of data solutions and compliance recommendations Proven experience in building effective relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders Awareness of opportunities for innovation with new tools and uses of data Responsibilities: Design data models at different levels: conceptual, logical, and physical Define and maintain the data technology architecture, including metadata and data warehouse architecture Provide guidance for the upgrade, management, decommissioning, and archiving of data in compliance with related policies Support the Principal Data Architect to manage work packages through the enterprise architecture framework Manage issues arising from the Data Management Strategy implementation Take an active role in Architecture Governance to ensure system designs align with enterprise data architecture Implement identified opportunities for consolidation and data management tools Manage the plan for migration onto new data management platforms Champion data architecture internally and through collaboration across the Council Technologies: Architect Data Warehouse Support More: We are excited to welcome a Data Architect to our Strategy and Architecture team within the Digital Services Team at Derbyshire County Council.
