Learning Support Assistant Carer (multiple posts available) We are looking for multiple Learning Support Assistant Carers to join our Additional Learning Support Team. This is a 24 hours per week, part-time, permanent role offering a salary of £14,655 per annum. Why Join Us? Job Purpose/Key Responsibilities: To provide appropriate support for individual or groups of students in/out of class, in accordance with their individual support plan, so that they achieve their learning goals. To provide appropriate personal care support to students who require this. This may include supporting students to use the toilet, wash, eat / drink. To work with subject tutors to ensure appropriate and effective support to meet individual student needs. To contribute to the maintenance of all necessary tracking and monitoring documentation (e.g. daily records; student reviews). Skills and Qualifications: 5 GCSE passes or equivalent including Maths and English Experience of Microsoft Office packages Be able to support young people and adults with learning difficulties and/or disabilities in a variety of settings. Experience of providing personal care, manual handling and administration of medication and willingness to undertake training as appropriate.
