Senior Employee Relations Case Advisor\n\nAbout the Role\n\nOur client, a respected NHS Trust in South London, is seeking two experienced Senior Employee Relations Case Advisors to join their HR team on a short-term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a large, fast-paced healthcare organisation that values professionalism, compassion, and staff wellbeing.\n\nAs a Senior ER Case Advisor, you will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload and supporting managers and staff through complex employee relations matters. You'll play a key role in ensuring fair, consistent, and legally compliant HR practices across the Trust.\n\nContract: 3 Months | Full-Time\n Start Date: Immediate\n Rate: £19.71 per hour\n Working Pattern: 4 days on-site\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nProvide expert guidance on ER issues including disciplinary, grievance, sickness absence, performance, and harassment cases.\nSupport and coach managers through formal hearings and investigations.\nCollaborate with Occupational Health, EAP providers, and legal teams to ensure staff wellbeing and compliance.\nContribute to policy development, training delivery, and continuous improvement of ER practices.\nMaintain accurate case records and produce reports for senior management.Candidate Requirements\n\nNHS experience is essential.\nProven ability to manage a high-volume ER caseload in a large, unionised organisation.\nMust be available to work 4 days per week on-site at Croydon University Hospital.\nStrong knowledge of employment law, ACAS codes, and HR best practices.\nExcellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.Desirable Skills\n\nCIPD Level 5 or equivalent qualification.\nFamiliarity with ESR and ER Tracker systems.\nExperience with NHS Agenda for Change job evaluation processes.Interested?\n\nIf you're an experienced ER professional ready to hit the ground running, we'd love to hear from you.\n\nPlease note that no terminology in this advert is intended to discriminate on the grounds of a person's gender, marital status, race, religion, colour, age, disability or sexual orientation.
