£34,916 - £42,007 per annum (FTE £39,678 - £47,736 per annum) Part Time (0.88) 31.5 hours a week over 4 days a week
Kingston College is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Lecturer in Foundation and Intermediate Learning with a Sociology and/or Psychology specialism.
This is an exciting opportunity to support learners in GCSE, BTEC and A level (Level 2 and Level 3), helping them build confidence, academic skills and subject knowledge as they progress towards further study or employment.
Responsibilities
As our Lecturer, you will teach on one or more of the courses provided or serviced by the school and contribute to the development of existing and new provision and the implementation of flexible and cost effective teaching and learning styles.
You will be a creative, resourceful and effective educator, able to convey knowledge, support the development of skills and challenge, mentor and motivate students. You will have good general IT skills, be familiar with Microsoft Office and have the capacity to adapt quickly to college IT systems, offering effective feedback and monitoring and recording students’ progress.
