A welcoming and forward-thinking school in the London Borough of Haringey is seeking an enthusiastic LSA to join their team on a long-term basis until July 2027. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting young people, helping them overcome barriers to learning, and ensuring they achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities * Provide one-to-one and small-group support to students across KS3 and KS4. * Assist students with special educational needs (SEN), behavioural needs, or learning difficulties. * Work collaboratively with teachers to deliver tailored support in and out of the classroom. * Help implement EHCP strategies and behaviour support plans. * Support students with classwork, revision, organisation, and emotional well-being. * Encourage positive engagement, confidence building, and independent learning. * Contribute to maintaining a calm, safe, and inclusive learning environment. Requirements * DBS on the Update Service – Essential * Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant, Teaching Assistant, or Youth Mentor is highly desirable. * Strong communication, patience, and the ability to build rapport with young people. * A genuine passion for education and supporting student progress. * Ability to commit to the full duration of the contract (until July 2027).
