Experienced ECC Small Animal Vet – Cardiff, Wales - 4 on / 4 off rota The client seeks an exceptional Veterinary Surgeon to join their Emergency and Critical Care (ECC) team at a premier veterinary hospital. This role focuses on providing comprehensive 24/7 ECC services to local practices, ensuring high-quality care. The Role Based within a hospital practice, you would have access to a varied and interesting caseload with the support of their team of ECC and first opinion vets. They provide out-of-hours provision for around 40 local practices, covering beyond the Cardiff area, meaning that they see a very wide and varied caseload of both medical and surgical cases. Great work life balance, ECC position with a rolling rota: - 4 days on, 4 days off (comprising 4 day shifts, 4 days off, 4 twilight shifts, 4 days off, etc.) Average 35.1 hours per week. No sole charge responsibilities. Supported by a robust team of Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVNs), Animal Care Assistants (ACAs), and reception staff. Permanent night vets cover long night shifts; no on-call duties. Opportunities for certificate study and clinical development.
