Offer description

Do you want to work at a maternity unit that has a CQC rating of outstanding/good within a Trust that has been rated outstanding? If so, we’d love to hear from you.

Excellent Midwives make a significant difference during one of the most life-changing experiences. Our Maternity Department's success is driven by our dedicated team.

Over 3000 babies are born each year at South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust. We have led successful service improvements, including collaborations with the Department of Health, Better Births, and the Baby Friendly Initiative.

We have an exciting opportunity for midwives to join our team. We seek individuals with excellent communication skills, who are enthusiastic, self-motivated, and committed to providing high-quality care. Flexibility to work across all care settings within our maternity services is essential.

If you wish to advance your career in a friendly, staff-centered environment, we would love to hear from you. Please contact us for more information.

Our Workforce and Clinical Support Midwives.

We are not supporting international recruitment at this time.

The role involves working across all areas of Maternity Services at SWFT, fulfilling a standard roster pattern, covering all shifts to provide comprehensive maternity care to mothers and babies.

You will be expected to maintain high standards of midwifery care at all times and act as a lead professional when appropriate, planning and evaluating care in partnership with women and referring when necessary.

Join a Trust rated Outstanding by the CQC. South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust has been rated outstanding following our latest CQC inspection. Our staff survey ranked us 4th in the country as a recommended place to work.

We serve Warwickshire and beyond, including hospitals in Warwick, Stratford-Upon-Avon, Royal Leamington Spa, and Shipston-on-Stour, as well as community services across the county. We are a progressive, expanding organization focused on improving quality, integrating pathways, and increasing productivity.

Our core values are: "Trusted to provide safe, inclusive, effective, and compassionate care." Throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked to demonstrate how you embody these values and their impact on your work. Regardless of your role, these values are central to our work.

As part of our commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion, we encourage all applicants to complete a short survey available at https://forms.office.com/e/ahWY3eAGM2. We appreciate your participation.
