Job Summary
Airbus is looking for a dynamic Major Events Supply Engineer to join our transnational mission across France, the UK, Germany, and Spain. The role provides end‑to‑end supply solutions for critical milestones in an aircraft’s lifecycle, from major repairs and airworthiness directives to long‑term spares management.
Responsibilities
* Drive Major Repair support and act as the primary technical point of contact for spare deliveries.
* Lead kickoff meetings for assigned major repairs and manage complex technical subjects.
* Handle master data, spares technical specifications (STS) and interchangeable part number loading.
* Identify suppliers/fast shops based on technical capabilities and manage the documentation process.
* Manage complex long‑term topics, obsolescence material management, and airworthiness directives for spares projects.
* Certify staff activities and drive day‑to‑day operations within Supply Engineering.
* Act as a catalyst for change, leading high‑impact projects using the LBIP+ methodology.
* Drive the transition toward digitalization and develop new ways of working (ASAP, concession handling).
* Execute value‑stream mapping and manage diverse projects such as local fabrication or A220 spares management.
Qualifications
* Master’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent).
* Fluent in English and at least one additional language (French, German, Spanish).
* Ability to read and consult Airbus documentation and drawings.
* Knowledge of SATAIR, repair organization and tasks.
* Understanding of logistic flows and sales orders process.
* General knowledge of aircraft systems and structure.
* Experience with IT tools (Tech Request, SAP PSC, local SAP systems, Sea Cloud, Google Suite, etc.) and preferably in customer services, supply or logistics.
* Strong coordination, relational, and communication skills to engage suppliers, customers and internal Airbus departments.
* Ability to cope with a highly demanding environment and manage conflict situations.
* Project management experience with LBIP+; a PM certification (Iron level) is a plus.
