The Role
As an Accounts & Tax Manager, you will play a key role in managing a varied portfolio of clients and supporting the Partners with the continued growth of the firm.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing a portfolio of owner-managed businesses and high net worth individuals
* Reviewing statutory accounts and corporation tax returns
* Overseeing personal tax compliance and advisory work
* Acting as the main point of contact for clients, providing proactive advice
* Managing, mentoring and reviewing work of junior staff
* Supporting with business development and identifying growth opportunities
Requirements
* ACA or ACCA qualified (or qualified by experience)
* Strong background in general practice, covering both accounts and tax
* Experience managing your own client portfolio
* Confident reviewing work and supporting junior team members
* Strong communication skills with a client-focused approach
Benefits
* £45,000 - £50,000, dependent on experience and background, negotiable

Requirements
Preferably qualified ACA/ACCA or by experience. 5-10+ years experience within an accountancy practice experience. Experience preparing accounts and tax returns. Experience of QuickBooks, Xero or Sage would be advantageous.
