Role Overview
As a Site Operations Works Co‑ordinator at West Burton, you will support the delivery of the STEP prototype fusion energy plant by coordinating day‑to‑day site activities and facilities management.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate all site works and provide daily oversight of contractors, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and managing permits to work.
* Support implementation of health and safety management systems, conduct inductions, and review risk assessments to ensure safe working practices.
* Manage the facilities management contract, including monitoring compliance, overseeing maintenance schedules, and acting as the main point of contact for FM services.
* Liaise with stakeholders across the site to manage simultaneous operations effectively and maintain excellent communication.
* Support building compliance activities, defect management, and ensure security through daily building checks.
Qualifications
* Proven experience coordinating or supervising day‑to‑day site operations, ideally with a trade or construction background.
* Knowledge of building compliance and maintenance management.
* SHEQ qualifications and understanding of how to promote a strong safety culture.
* Experience supervising teams and proficient Microsoft Office skills.
* Full driving licence.
