Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated, and experienced pharmacist to join our dynamic pharmacy team at Wexham Park Hospital.
The post is ideal for Primary Care Pharmacists seeking to transition into hospital pharmacy, as well as junior hospital pharmacists looking to broaden their clinical experience and take on a specialist rotational role within a supportive and progressive hospital environment.
Our Band 7 rotations are designed to provide exposure to a wide range of clinical specialties and to develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence required for progression to advanced-level or specialist roles. You will work closely with Lead Pharmacists, clinicians, nursing staff, and senior managers to enhance and develop pharmaceutical services across multiple directorates, ensuring safe and effective use of medicines and optimal patient outcomes.

Main duties of the job
* Work within a diverse and supportive pharmacy team at Wexham Park Hospital to deliver safe, effective, and patient‑centred care. Provide high‑quality clinical pharmacy services across a range of specialty wards, ensuring optimal and compliant medicines use.
* Act as a role model for clinical excellence, demonstrating advanced knowledge, sound judgement, and leadership.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, Lead Pharmacists, and senior staff to support medicines optimisation and service improvement.
* Deliver education, training, and supervision for junior staff and trainees to build team capability.
* Contribute to clinical governance, audit, research, and service development to drive continuous improvement.
* Participate in specialist clinical rotations and travel to other Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust sites as required to support integrated pharmacy services.

Qualifications Essential
* Pharmacy degree (Master level 4 years)
* Registered with GPhC
* Within 12 months of completion of Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy / Pharmacy Practice or equivalent

* Independent pharmacist Prescriber
* Completion of Diploma in Clinical Practice OR equivalent
Experience/knowledge Essential
* Recent hospital clinical pharmacy experience
* Post registration provision of clinical pharmacy services to a broad range of clinical specialities
