What You’ll Be Doing
We are recruiting for additional Business Consultants to join a new phase of work at an existing Government client. You will support client transformation and deliver planned change and benefit. You will be effective within complex stakeholder landscapes as a trusted advisor to Programme and Project Managers and other key stakeholders. You will be involved throughout the full lifecycle of projects and programmes, from early visioning/baselining activities through to sustainability, transition to business as usual and delivery of benefits. You will help clients transform and achieve their stated goals across people, business processes and enabling technology, at all stages within a programme or project: business justification; planning for business change; helping clients implement change across the business and ensuring the expected level of change is sustainable.
* Lead analysis in areas of experience.
* Lead client engagement on specific sections of a project or programme.
* Lead small workshops and interviews to capture information from key stakeholders.
* Plan and present core information to stakeholder groups to assist in change activities.
* Coach other staff to develop core techniques.
* Plan and define the delivery of a business consulting project.
* Be familiar with one or more business consulting approaches/techniques and select those suitable for a given engagement.
* Build and lead a team of junior staff and task them to deliver elements of a larger project.
* Lead large workshops with senior staff to elicit information and progress activities.
* Run large and complex client engagements with multiple stakeholder groups.
* Engage with difficult stakeholder groups to identify issues and resolutions.
* Coach and deliver training for junior staff and client teams.
* Apply project management principles such as planning, risk management and resource management to small and medium-sized change projects.
