Major Donor Fundraiser, International Development P/T to £35.5k (pro rata) DOE
Wonderful opportunity exists at this Cambridgeshire based International Development charity for a Major Donor Fundraiser / Major Gifts / Philanthropy Fundraiser who will have a key role to play within their wider Fundraising and Communications team. This is a hybrid role working from home / remotely with 50% time in the office (preferably Cambridgeshire site though there is an option to work in their Edinburgh offices for interested candidates in Scotland). The role is currently envisaged at part time (0.6 FTE).
Working within a small team, the Major Donor Fundraiser will be responsible for driving the stewardship and cultivation of both current and new donors capable of supporting with gifts in excess of £5k up to £50k or beyond. The charity has a steady base of current supporters (HNWI) upon which the Major Donor Fundraiser will deliver deeper and greater relationships and funding growth at an achievable rate.
You should demonstrate previous experience in delivering Major Gift fundraising (excluding Trusts) with HNWI securing gifts in excess of £5k – £10k or greater and be confident in making both warm and cold approaches to potential donors including face to face, telephone and video; writing proposals, making visits, engagement opportunities and events.
