Senior Digital Project Manager – Serco, Warwickshire, England, United Kingdom
Here at Serco, we’re looking for an experienced and driven Senior Digital Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex, high-impact digital and IT transformation projects within our DDaT (Digital, Data and Technology) function.
Responsibilities
* Deliver complex IT and digital projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring quality, cost, and timelines are met.
* Manage project teams and suppliers, driving effective collaboration and accountability.
* Control project scope, risk, and change, ensuring adherence to DDaT standards and governance.
* Monitor budgets and resources, ensuring financial control and timely reporting.
* Ensure successful service transition, with full operational readiness and documentation.
* Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing clear progress updates and managing expectations.
* Lead and mentor project managers, supporting continuous improvement and best practice.
* Support PMO governance, ensuring accurate reporting, lessons learned, and process compliance.
Qualifications & Experience
* Prince2 Practitioner or APM Certification.
* Significant experience managing digital/IT change and transformation projects.
* Strong understanding of Project Management, Change Management, and SDLC methodologies.
* Background in IT delivery as a Developer, Technical Lead, Business Analyst, or Project Manager.
* Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and risks effectively.
* Experience managing multi-supplier, cross-functional project teams.
* Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and presentation skills.
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving ability, with a pragmatic approach.
* This role requires Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance; Security Check (SC) clearance may also be required.
