Main duties of the job
As a Registered Nurse at Avery Healthcare, you will be responsible for acting as the person in charge, standing in for the Manager as required and observing all instructions to act upon their behalf. You will ensure high standards of care for our residents, undertaking nursing tasks such as medication distribution, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding, and management of chronic medical conditions. You will also be responsible for advising families and GPs of any changes in resident condition, as well as effectively deploying and supervising the care team to ensure all tasks are completed during your shift.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Your focus as a Registered Nurse will be to act as person in charge, standing in for the Manager as required and observing all instructions to act upon his/her behalf whilst you ensure high standards of care to our residents.

* Responsibility for the effective deployment and supervision of staff within the care team, ensuring all tasks are completed during the period of duty and residents receive required care.
* Providing high standards of care by undertaking accurate assessment and planning.

* Hold a First Level qualification and current NMC Registration.

* Have sound knowledge of care planning and its practical application.
