Director, HR Technology Strategy & Transformation
Location: London / Hybrid
Up to £120k + £20k Bonus, 30 Days Holiday, 15% Pension, Full Family HC +
This role will suit an experienced HR Technology leader to define and deliver a global HR systems strategy. You’ll drive simplification, automation, and data-led decision-making across the HR tech landscape with Workday at the core.
A mix of strategy, transformation, and leadership. You’ll set the roadmap, optimise key systems, and build an operating model that improves efficiency and employee experience.
Key Initiatives:
* Oversee a large-scale separation project, creating and consolidating a dedicated Workday environment to ensure compliance, minimise disruption, and maintain seamless business operations.
* Build a multidisciplinary HRIS team focused on automation, efficiency, and user-centric design to modernise workforce processes and enhance employee and manager experience.
* Develop structured intake and prioritisation methods, improving transparency and accelerating delivery across all Workday initiatives.
* Developed a release tracking and adoption process that simplified change management, shortened implementation timelines, and gave HR leaders clearer visibility of new functionality.
* Elevated configuration and data standards within Workday, improving accuracy, delivery quality, and reducing post-release issues.
* Delivered advanced HR analytics dashboards that improved reporting, data-driven decisions, and stakeholder confidence.
Key Responsibilities
* Define and execute the HR technology strategy and multi-year roadmap.
* Simplify and integrate tools across Workday, ServiceNow, and Learning/Talent platforms.
* Redesign the HR tech operating model, team structure, and governance.
* Improve data quality, analytics, and reporting for better insights and compliance.
* Lead vendor and commercial management to ensure value and performance.
* Embed automation and AI in HR processes to improve speed and experience.
* Partner with HR and business leaders to land change and adoption effectively.
What You’ll Bring

* Strong knowledge of Workday and connected platforms (ServiceNow, Cornerstone, Gloat).
* Experience driving system consolidation, integration, and automation.
