Infrastructure Support Engineer (Previous Relevant Experience is Required), Hemel Hempstead
This role is with Telent, supporting critical infrastructure through network operations. The NOC Technician will provide administrative support to the NOC engineering team, ensuring incident resolution aligns with procedures and KPIs. The position involves working in a 24/7 shift rota.
Responsibilities:
1. Handle incoming calls and emails, responding in line with KPIs.
2. Create network incident tickets from customer reports.
3. Action Service Requests.
4. Assign tickets to support teams and service providers.
5. Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
6. Coordinate traffic management with relevant providers and teams.
7. Communicate incident updates to customers.
8. Collaborate with utility companies during power-related network issues.
Candidate Profile:
Previous experience supporting enterprise and service provider networks, preferably within a NOC environment.
Key Requirements:
* Experience with 1st line diagnostics and incident resolution.
* Strong communication skills across all levels.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
