About the Role
Mainstay Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Building Services Engineer (Electrical) to join our clients Technical Services team. This is a key leadership position focused on electrical engineering compliance, safety, and operational efficiency across complex and secure Ministry of Defence estates.
This role combines technical excellence with operational leadership, acting as the Qualified Supervisor (QS) and Authorised Person (HV & LV). Your work will have a direct impact on ensuring the safety, reliability, and compliance of vital electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and guide the electrical engineering team and subcontractors
* Oversee inspection, testing, and maintenance in accordance with BS7671 and BS5266 standards
* Ensure compliance with NIC / EIC accredited standards and maintain governance
* Act as Authorised Person (HV / LV) for the control of high-risk engineering activities
