This role is based in York and will manage the Orthopaedic in-patient therapy teams and Rheumatology therapy team, but will need to work cross-site as required across York hospital, Scarborough hospital and Bridlington Hospital as part of York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Responsibilities
* Duties include staff management, recruitment, induction, appraisal, locality training and service development.
* Responsible for shift and workload allocation as well as rota planning.
* Support will be available from operational managers and other team managers as well as clinical advice from advanced clinical specialists in this area and professional leads.
Qualifications
* A relevant degree or equivalent with current HCPC registration is essential.
* The successful candidate will have a broad range of post graduate experience, with at least some in a relevant clinical area and should include working at a senior level, and taking responsibility for other members of staff.
* Ability to support others in skills development and complex discharge management is essential and understanding of complex care management within the NHS environment is also beneficial.
