We are looking for a Senior Revit Technician to join our Building Services (MEP) team in Manchester. The role will play a key part in the production and coordination of high-quality Revit models and technical drawings for mechanical, electrical and public health systems, supporting projects from concept through to delivery.
You will work closely with engineers and project teams to ensure designs are accurately modelled, coordinated, and compliant with relevant standards, while also supporting BIM best practice and mentoring junior technicians.
Key Responsibilities
1. Produce and coordinate detailed Revit MEP models and drawings for building services systems
2. Model mechanical, electrical and public health services including HVAC, pipework, containment and plant layouts
3. Work collaboratively with engineers to translate design intent into accurate, buildable models
4. Coordinate models with other disciplines and resolve clashes using BIM tools
5. Maintain and apply BIM standards, templates, and workflows
6. Review and check drawings and models to ensure accuracy and quality
7. Support and mentor junior technicians within the team
8. Assist with project coordination meetings and model reviews
About You
9. Proven experience as a Revit Technician within a Building Services / MEP environment
10. Strong working knowledge of Revit MEP and AutoCAD
11. Experience delivering projects across multiple sectors such as commercial, residential, education, healthcare or defence
12. Good understanding of building services systems and construction methodologies
13. Familiar with BIM Level 2 standards and collaborative working practices
14. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple project deadlines
15. Effective communicator with a collaborative approach
Desirable
16. Experience using Navisworks or other coordination tools
17. Knowledge of ISO standards
18. Experience working on defence or secure projects (or eligibility for security clearance)
