Our Accountancy Customer Services team plays a vital role in that mission. They’re the experts accountants turn to when they need help, reassurance, or practical guidance. We’re now expanding our IRIS Elements support team – and looking for friendly, motivated people with a foundation in finance, tax, or accountancy to join us.


What Will You Be Doing?

* Act as the first point of contact for accountants using IRIS Elements and Accountancy Suite
* Respond to queries via phone, email, or online chat
* Investigate and resolve customer issues, or escalating to specialists when needed
* Explain processes clearly and help customers get back to work fast
* Log and track cases to ensure timely resolution
* Update our internal knowledge base with useful insights or fixes
* Meet quality and service goals while keeping customer satisfaction high
* Represent IRIS with professionalism, empathy, and care

You’ll be based in our Slough (Heathrow Approach) office for at least three days per week, with the flexibility to work from home on other days if you prefer.


What Are We Looking For?

This is a great fit for someone early in their career who already understands the basics of finance or accountancy and wants to build on that knowledge in a software‑focused role.

* A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related subject
* Experience in a finance, tax, or accountancy role
* Current study towards an accounting qualification such as AAT

We’re also looking for people who are:

* Clear and confident communicators
* Naturally helpful and patient
* Organised, with great attention to detail
* Comfortable with Microsoft Office and learning new systems
* Calm under pressure and able to solve problems logically
* Keen to learn and grow in a supportive environment

* EPP – An untimed personality profile focused on your working style and approach to challenges. No right or wrong answers – just be yourself. These are widely used and designed to be fair and inclusive, helping us see beyond your CV.

A short, friendly chat over Microsoft Teams with someone from our Talent team. It’s your chance to ask questions and learn more about the role and life at IRIS.

Join us at our Slough/Heathrow Approach office (SL1 8QY) for an interactive, in‑person session with other candidates on Wednesday 29 October 2025. You’ll take part in team‑based activities, meet our team, and get a real feel for our culture.
