Maple Grove Primary School is looking for a diligent and enthusiastic person to join our Site Services Team. The role of the Site Services Officer is to ensure the internal and external areas of the premises are clean, well maintained, and secure, and that janitorial tasks are carried out with the appropriate resources and equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Your aim is to create a safe and high quality environment to support the educational needs and emotional welfare of staff and pupils.
Responsibilities
* Site Security including key holding
* Environmental Management
* Site Maintenance – undertaking minor DIY tasks, keeping grounds and premises clean, supporting internal cleaning teams, porterage, and overseeing works carried out by external contractors.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Ability to undertake a range of minor DIY and maintenance jobs.
* Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
* Experience supporting cleaning teams or similar roles is desirable.
* Good communication skills and a commitment to safeguarding.

A happy, obliging character with a flexible and adaptable approach. A can‑do attitude, willingness to learn, and a positive, supportive spirit.
