Responsibilities
* Supporting month‑end close processes and management accounting activities
* Performing reconciliations across multiple accounts and entities
* Investigating and resolving financial discrepancies proactively
* Assisting with intercompany accounting and balance reviews
* Supporting audit preparation and ensuring accurate financial records
* Analysing financial data and identifying trends or variances
* Working closely with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and wider finance teams
* Contributing to finance process improvements and operational efficiencies
* Supporting a busy finance function within a high‑volume environment
Required Qualifications
* Experience within a finance or accounting environment
* Strong analytical mindset with good problem‑solving capability
* High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
* Comfortable working within a fast‑paced SME environment
* Strong Excel and general systems skills
* Organised and able to manage multiple priorities effectivelyPositive, adaptable, and collaborative approach to work
* Exposure to reconciliations, journals, or month‑end processes advantageous
* AAT qualified or studying towards ACCA/CIMA beneficial but not essential
