We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Regional Information Security Officer to be a pivotal part of our Trust and Security EMEA team, operating from either our Bristol or Farnborough (preference) in UK.
Pax8 is looking for a dynamic Regional Information Security Officer to lead and shape our EMEA security practices. This role offers the chance to impact our multi-billion dollar SaaS Marketplace by building security strategies and enhancing runtime security capabilities. As the first Trust and Security team member in EMEA, you will combine technical expertise with leadership in incident response, vulnerability management, threat intelligence, and fraud prevention, playing a key role in developing our EMEA security team.

The Team
You will join a talented team of six professionals worldwide, dedicated to security excellence and fostering a people-centric culture.
Your daily responsibilities
1. Collaborate with EMEA leadership to align business needs with security requirements.
2. Implement compliance standards in EMEA with Trust and Security teams.
3. Lead security incident response during EMEA hours, including on-call rotations.
4. Provide senior leadership within the Security Operations team.
5. Partner with DevOps, Engineering, and Legal teams to manage risks in AWS and Azure environments and ensure compliance.
6. Identify, mitigate, and evaluate security threats and vulnerabilities, coordinating with external testers as needed.
7. Create security briefings for internal and external audiences.
8. Hire and manage security analysts to build a robust operations team.
Ideal candidate profile
* Substantial cybersecurity experience, including leadership roles and enterprise security scenarios.
* Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex security situations.
* Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
* Experience with Microsoft security tools like Defender, Entra, Exchange, and Purview, and CSPM tools.
* Experience working with DevOps and IT teams is beneficial.

* Salary: £80,000 - £90,000
