About the Role
Kirklees Council is advertising this role on behalf of Scissett Middle School.
We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Technology Technician to support the Food & Fabric Technology/Design & Technology departments. The role commences as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
* Preparing, setting up and maintaining equipment, including CAD/CAM equipment, to support teachers in the production of students’ work.
* Preparing and clearing practical work.
* Organising, maintaining and storing stocks of resources and preparing them for lessons.
* Providing support to teaching staff before, during and after lessons.
* General workshop maintenance.
* Ensuring a safe environment.
* Performing administrative tasks.
Some general whole‑school support in other curriculum areas may be required.
Qualifications
