Reception Teacher
2-form Primary School in Leeds (LS18)
Vision for Education are seeking an outstanding practitioner to teach Reception at a wonderful 2-form primary school in Leeds (LS18). The school are looking to hire a Reception Teacher who is enthusiastic, positive, hard-working, flexible and a conscientious person. The successful applicant will have ideally passed their ECT induction and have experience of teacing in a reception class. The role is due to begin on 5th Jan on a full time basis provisionally until Easter 2026.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and effective lessons aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment where all children can thrive.
Assess, track, and evaluate student progress, providing timely feedback and personalised support to promote individual development.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support the holistic growth and well-being of every child.
Contribute to school life by participating in events, meetings, and ongoing professional development activities.
Requirements:
The ideal Reception Teacher will have;
QTS (ESSENTIAL)
Previous EYFS experience
Experience working in UK Schools
