Thepostholder will be a high performing Medical Secretary who will work to ensurereferrals are sent out in a timely manner working at The Windmill Practice,providing a referral service for GPs who need to refer patients on to secondarycare. Main duties of the job
The role is an all-rounded,hands-on referral administration role; the postholder will need to confidently evidenceand utilise key skills such as effective communication, time management, diarymanagement, and the ability to prioritise referrals and their differenturgencies across the Division and the wider organisation. The postholder willwork in collaboration with local divisions (including Divisional Boards) andthe National Modality Business Support Team to deliver innovative ways ofworking to meet the strategic aims of the organisation.
The role is nota regular 9am-5pm job and is not a pure typing secretarial role; the jobrequires innovation, flexibility, and commitment and the postholder will berequired to work resourcefully as part of the team to ensure tasks arecompleted.
