Job Title: General Cover Teacher
Location: East of England, Cambridgeshire, Cambridge
Salary: £130 - £180 Per day
Benefits: PAYE
The General Cover Teacher will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons to students across various subjects in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. Duties include maintaining a positive learning environment, managing classroom behaviour, and ensuring all students engage with the learning material. We are working with our partner schools in the Cambridge area on a variety of day to day supply as well as short and long term block bookings! Whether you are available on a full or part time basis we want to hear from you.
Job Duties:
* Deliver high-quality teaching to cover for absent teachers across various subjects and year groups
* Manage classroom behaviour to ensure a conducive learning environment
* Follow the school's policies and procedures in delivering lessons
* Assess and provide feedback on students' work
* Collaborate with other teaching staff to ensure continuity in learning
* Typical working hours are from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
* May require flexibility in covering different subjects and year groups
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Enhanced DBS check
* Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
* Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
Experience:
* Recent experience teaching in a similar role, that can be referenced
* Experience working with diverse student populations
Knowledge and Skills:
* Strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum
* Excellent classroom management skills
* Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
