Position Overview
This role is based in Renfrewshire Mental Health Inpatient Wards, currently located across three sites: Dykebar Hospital, Royal Alexandra Hospital & Leverndale Hospital. Your base will initially be in one of these sites, though you may be required to rotate to another site in due course. Applicants must be able to work in any of the three sites.
Shift Pattern
The shift pattern for this post are long days from 07:00 to 19:30, day shift and 19:00 to 07:30 night shift 3x 3 shifts per week with 1 week of 4 shifts within an 8‑week period. This will be reviewed again during 2025 for a further decrease in hours in 2026.
Responsibilities
* Provide care to patients with a wide range of mental health conditions, including care for adults and older adults as part of the multidisciplinary team.
* Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
* Ensure all care is delivered in line with national and local policies and standards.
Requirements
* Knowledge and experience of working with people with mental health illnesses.
* Essentially, you must be an NMC registered nurse.
* PVG Scheme Membership/Disclosure Scotland checks are required.
